We are seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to join us as **Head of Human Resource & Compliance **. Reporting to the CEO, you will be part of the Leadership Team and you will help to develop corporate strategy and drive company culture.

**About the Role**
You are expected to play an advisory role to the Leadership team and provide tactical and strategic support on all people issues. You need to manage a full spectrum of HR operations, support the business with compliance initiatives, and requires you to be hands on including being our point of contact with both Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) and Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
**We will depend on you to:
**(HR Function)**
- Support the end-to-end employee life cycle - recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits training and development and offboarding.
- Work with the CEO to develop the company’s overall recruitment and rewards strategy, including performance appraisals and salary reviews.
- Work closely with the CEO and Head of Finance to prepare annual budgets.
- Work closely with the Leadership team to identify training and recruitment needs for the business.
- Work closely with Marketing Manager on the monthly HR Newsletter and annual Employee Engagement Survey.
- Be the company’s liaison with MOM on all HR related matters including work passes related matters.
- Coordinating the company’s benefit programmes including the annual health insurance plans and quarterly Wellness benefits.
- Develop HR policies and procedures to suit a growing business.
- Produce and manage monthly payroll using Justlogin system including CPF payments and monthly/quarterly incentive payments and the annual income tax submission.
- Source, update and maintain training programmes in the annual Training Catalogue.
- Champion a strong work culture.
**(Compliance Function)**
- Act as a point of contact for the MAS and PDPC.
- Serve as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) to oversee data protection responsibilities and ensure compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
- Manage the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Register.
- Complete all the Sanction Screening reporting in a timely fashion as determined by Group Compliance.
- Liaise with MAS for any new guidelines or developments in the Insurance Broking and Financial Advisor industries.
- Complete all MAS reporting and ensure compliance with all guidelines as required and as per the set timelines stipulated by MAS.
- Ensure timely information to MAS regarding onboarding and offboarding of broking staff.
- Maintain complaints register and ensure MAS guidelines are followed.
- Report suspicious activities and incidents of Fraud.
- Ensure Technology Risk Management guidelines are followed.
- Ensure Balanced Scorecard reporting for exempt financial advisors.
- Serve as a secretary for product approval committee and ensure completion of documentation.
- Devise compliance related processes and policies to ensure conformity with Group and MAS guidelines.
- Others as required by the Company, Group or MAS.
**About You**

- You have prior experience in Compliance, Operational Risk and/or Internal Audit background within the banking/insurance industry.

- You have the ability to influence and be steadfast in decision making when necessary.
- You have the ability to deal with a complex and at times changing/ambiguous environment.
- People focused with a can-do attitude.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR and 3 years Compliance experience within the insurance industry.
