**Responsibilities**:
Collaborating with HR teams throughout the region, your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating with Legal to secure approval on recommended disciplinary or warning actions resulting from completed investigations.
- Offering consultation, advice, and mentoring to Country HR on investigation outcomes, policy interpretation, and regional employment practices.
- Assisting country HR in handling various ER cases, such as issues, misconduct, performance problems, grievances, layoffs, and absences to achieve successful resolutions.
- Providing mentorship and advice to HR related to ER cases.
- Maintaining documentation standards for ER cases, including investigation reports and issue analysis.
- Establishing working relationships with employment legal professionals, actively engaging with them and Country HR to stay informed of local legislation requirements.
- Ensuring a approach to handling ER cases to maintain coherence in addressing ER-related issues.
- Implementing an ER tracking system and governing of the ER Management framework, while recommending changes for continuous process improvement.
- Taking charge of the development of materials for ER policy and procedures.
- Assisting with training and education initiatives to improve HR and leadership efficiency and promote better ER decision-making.
- Preparing and delivering and ad hoc reports on ER matters.
- Proactively identifying ER trends based on data and recommending strategies to address them.
- Taking the lead on ER projects.

To excel in this role, you will need to:

- Develop and champion effective internal relationships across Human Resources teams, Employment Legal, and cross-Line of Business partners.
- Efficient time management without needing supervision, and ability to prioritize timely responses to communications.
- Keep up-to-date on company policies on Employee Relation matters and investigations.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Propose solutions and plans for improvement that align with methodologies in company policy, values, guidelines, and relevant legislation compliance.
- Possess strong planning, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Exhibit clear communication skills, both written and verbal.

What You'll Need
- Minimum of 8+ years of HR experience (including broad HR knowledge) with a focus on Employee Relations or a comparable role involving specific ER work.
- Prior experience supporting JAPAC locations.
- Ability to work independently and hands-on experience in partnering cross-functionally.
- Capacity to exercise sound judgment in critical, sophisticated, and ambiguous situations.
- Meticulous with the ability to handle highly confidential information with maturity
- Knowledgable on Asia Pacific employment law and regulatory frameworks.
- Consistent delivery in providing direction and mentorship, particularly with remote teams across JAPAC.
- Perform well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, computer, and organizational skills.
- Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in critical situations.
