Head of E-mail Automation

**Tasks**
- As the Head of E-Mail Automation, you will lead our efforts in leveraging the E-Mail marketing platform execution and best practice to enhance customer engagement, drive revenue, and optimize operational efficiency. You will lead a team of E-Mail automation specialists and be responsible for developing and executing strategies that utilize advanced E-Mail automation best practices to deliver personalized, targeted communications across our customer base.
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive E-Mail automation strategy aligned with the business objectives, focusing on increasing engagement and conversion rates.
- Campaign Management: Oversee the creation, scheduling, and deployment of automated E-Mail campaigns, ensuring they are optimized for performance and effectiveness. Create well-designed workflows to ensure complex automation and nurture activities run smoothly. A/B test campaigns and drive best practices to maximize open and click rates.
- Segmentation and Personalization: Define audience segmentation strategies and implement dynamic content personalization to deliver relevant messages tailored to different customer segments.
- E-Mail Marketing Advisory: Provide E-Mail marketing advisory to the Marketing Business Partners by validating the feasibility of business requirements, including assessment of target audience, reach, competition and relevance of channels against business goals.
- Innovation and Best Practices: Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital marketing best practices. Introduce innovative strategies to elevate the organization s digital presence.
- Performance Reporting & Analysis: Regularly report on the performance of E-Mail marketing initiatives to business partners. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
- Team Development & Management: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing E-Mail Automation Team.
- Compliance and Best Practice: Ensure E-Mail marketing practices comply with international regulations (e.g. GDPR) and follow best practices for E-Mail deliverability and engagement, ensuring list management and data hygiene.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work in close exchange with the Digital Marketing CoE sub-teams. Work in close exchange with the Business Partners and Creative & Publishing Hub to ensure quality and effectiveness of outputs. Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Technology team on the needed tool features and requirements.

**Qualifications**
- University degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in Digital Marketing, with proven experience in E-Mail marketing and automation and a track record in developing and implementing successful nurture campaigns
- Functional experience in leadership roles is of advantage
- In-depth knowledge of E-Mail automation platforms (e.g. Marketo, HubSpot) and proficiency in E-Mail marketing tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights to optimize campaigns
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- Proven ability to manage projects as well as resources effectively (moderation during peaks) delivering projects on time and within scope
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and levels of the organization
- Strategic thinker with a focus on innovation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead change initiatives effectively
- Business fluent in English
