Technical Sales Support Engineer

Singapore SMC CORPORATION (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting direct and indirect Sales Team to promote SMC Electric Actuator & Ionizer products and offer technical solutions to customers from various industries
- Provide product analysis against competition
- Support direct and indirect Sales Team to service existing customers and new accounts
- Spot sales opportunities independently and work closely with direct and indirect Sales Team for further sales expansion
- Prepare and conduct products demonstration and presentations
- Carry out market surveys and compile market reports for future engagement of R&D activities with Sales HQ
- Develop sales plans and strategies in increase sales and SMC market share

**Requirements**:

- Higher Nitec/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics or equivalent
- Minimum 1-3 years of industrial sales experience
- Preferably with electrical troubleshooting skill, Motor & Driver/PLC/Robots knowledge and programming capabilities
- Strong belief in customer service orientation
- Outgoing and self motivated
- Enthusiastic to take up new challenges
- Strong communication & analytical skills
- Work on project timeline, organize plans with clear objectives, and align with Corporate/Local management goals
- Team player who is able to coordinate with inter-departments to manage turnkey/customized projects
- Ability to work effectively under stress and independently
- Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
