Job Description
Manta is looking for a Head of Global Business Development who has an expertise in the South East Asia region. You will spearhead Manta’s global growth through strategic large-scale partnerships. This is a newly created position that will play a vital role in increasing Manta’s global presence.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement a market-specific and country-specific business development strategies to expedite Manta’s growth in SEA region;
- Lead the business growth in the region by partnering with telco services for distribution;
- Actively find and build relationships with strategic partners to enable growth and build the brand credibility in the market (i.e. media, consumer services);
- Establish and retain sustainable business relationships with the partners to represent Manta in the region;
- Advise and collaborate with senior management, marketing department, and other internal stakeholders to devise partnership strategies that are aligned with Manta’s vision
- Carry out due diligence, strategic negotiations, document writing, and other tasks and manage the entire deal process
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in B2B partnerships, entertainment distribution or other relevant sectors
- Extensive knowledge, experience and network in the telco and media sectors in the region
- Proven track record of executing strategic business development negotiations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Powerful persuasion and influencing skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
- A team player who is also comfortable working independently
- Experience in working in a remote, diverse team
- An avid webtoon reader or a fan of K-contents
