**Get to Know the Role**
The Head of BNPX & Rewards, GFG Singapore role’s mandate will be to drive cashless payment adoption, profitability and establish GrabPay as the leading e-wallet in Singapore. The role will invovle working with in-country, regional and cross functional teams to develop hyper-local strategy and go-to-market plans.The role will involve leveraging on all of Grab’s assets and build strong partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders to drive consumer engagement, deliver profitable growth, while bringing positive impact to the communities.
**The day-to-day activities**:
- Ownership of unit economics and P&L across Payments and Rewards product lines.
- Define business needs, identify and execute on revenue/cost optimization opportunities.
- Closely track business metrics and work with all internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.
- Drive user engagement as well as P&L through the design and execution of both structural and tactical marketing campaigns.
- Influence product roadmap for Payments, to set up necessary revenue & cost levers to drive excellence in the payments space for Grab.
- Partner closely with internal teams (product, other financial services, Strategy, marketing, legal/ compliance, sales, Grab support,analytics) and all key stakeholders within SG (e.g. government agencies, bank/ wallet partners, schemes, payment gateways, POS partners, online/ offline merchants to drive win-win outcomes for OneGrab.
- Lead, coach, mentor and guide a team with a consumer-centric focus.
**The Must-Haves**
- A minimum of 12-15 years of relevant work experience in payments, financial services, top tier management consulting or technology firms with minimum 5 years of capacity leading high performing teams.
- Experience in running business with full P&L responsibility.
- Extensive domain expertise and experience in payments.
- Experience and expertise in banking, loyalty, payments technology is an advantage.
- Experience in fast paced sectors such as fintech, payment or high growth startups driving transformational growth.
- Strategic thinking, Well-developed communication and presentation skills to interact with broad ranges of audience.
- Consumer-centric and strong problem definition and solution skills.
- Strong Interpersonal skills to effectively network within the company across verticals and functions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-driven and highly motivated individual with the ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Effectively manage and motivate a team to focus on the overall strategic roadmap, achieve near-term business KPIs.
- Committed and highly collaborative leader who can coach/ mentor their team while successfully establishing a healthy working culture based on Grab principles.
