The client is a well-known leader (manufacturing industry / Oil & Gas / Chemicals Gas) with presence around the globe in more than 10 locations.
Due to urgency of this role, incumbent who can converse in Chinese and staying in SG will be of higher priority.
**Assistant HRM (Jurong East) up to 6K**
**Key responsibilities**:
- Support and execute day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a safe and conducive office environment for all staff
- Serve as a HR Business Partner to the management team by advising on HR matters and their implications on business activities and objectives.
- Develop, implement, and review overall HR functions, policies, and guidelines to meet the organization’s business strategy.
- You will partner with your multi-functional team in the execution of strategies to deliver business and organizational objectives; through assessment, design, transition, and work process improvements.
- You will manage and use HR tools and resources in order to create organizational capability while being an employee champion. You are someone who is proactive, agile and can execute with excellence
- Ensure timely and accurate HR-related data entry and documentation (both online and offline) for processing and compliance (both internal and external) requirements
- Lead or assist with HR tools, systems, and process changes
- Staying up-to-date with market landscape changes, and making changes to HR processes accordingly.
- Provide advice and counsel to business leaders on a wide array of considerations including team design, team dynamics, retention and engagement, and bench strength as well as individual coaching for enhanced performance
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital, employee relations, staffing matters and HR strategies
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing grievances and other issues.
- Handle and manage the monthly payroll process.
- Any other duties as assigned by immediate superior.
**Requirements**:
- 6 - 8 years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment; previous experience as HR generalist or HR consultant a plus
- Bachelor’s degree and above
- Strategic thinking: Able to quickly evaluate situations, combine strong business judgement and people intuition to reach well-founded decisions
- Able to work at pace while maintaining appropriate attention to detail and standards
- Proactive and collaborative
- Willing and able to understand the adapt in a culturally diverse region
- Comfortable to work with ambiguity and empowerment
- Confident communicator, bilingual in English and Mandarin to facilitate cross border interactions and discussions across stakeholders
- Working in a matrix structured organization.
