**Job Description:
The Operations Director is responsible for ensuring that on the

Singapore Tanker fleet:

- The vessels and crew are always properly insured and cover bound in due time.
- The requisite insurance related documents are procured, copies held and placed on board as necessary.
- Interact with various P&I Clubs and H&M underwriters for timely dissemination of information to the vessels.
- Responsible for overseeing the procurement of USCG VRP approvals, Federal, California and/or Alaska Certificates of Financial Responsibility and for ensuring their vessels are enrolled in local pollution response co-operatives.
- Liaise and arrange / renew VRP (Tanker & Non-Tanker), Canadian and Panama OSRO contracts and plan submissions.
- Ensure all related regulations are followed up on and the fleet guided accordingly.
- Post Fixture Management including calculation of Freight & Demurrage and raising Invoices.
- Handle and follow-up on Freight accounting matters.
- Sanction LOI’s & handle B/L matters on Owners behalf.
- Ensuring charter party, freight contract, etc., obligations are fulfilled.
- Taking appropriate measures to safeguard Owners' interests ensuring ship's documentation under responsibility is in order and regulatory requirements are met.
- Issuing warnings and cautionary notices to the ships appropriate to their voyages or trade.
- Providing appropriate guidance and assistance to the Operations staff to ensure regular, timely, monitoring of the vessel and adherence to Company Policies & Procedures.
- Maintain record of vetting inspections and to arrange oil major inspections and coordinate replies to them.
- Vetting Inspections KPI & Review of Vetting Inspections and information.
- Responsible for TMSA Elements on Cargo, Navigation, Mooring and Security.
- Oversee Security responsibilities allocated to the Assistant Manager Operations/Supt.
- To Ensure that Vessel’s operations are being carried out in line with the Company’s QHSE Management System.

**Job Requirement**:

- To have Master's F.G. Certificate of Competency
- Minimum 3 years command experience on board
- Minimum 6 years working in Marine operations with experience in Oil & Gas tanker operations
