**Job Info**:

- Working Days: Monday - Friday
- Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm Location: West

**1. Category Management**
- Develop and implement category strategies to achieve business objectives and goals.
- Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats within the category.
- Monitor and manage the performance of products or services within the category.

**2. Market Analysis**
- Continuously monitor and analyse market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and threats within the category.

**3. Supplier Relationship Management**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favourable terms and agreements to ensure reliable and cost-effective sourcing.

**4. Purchase Order Management**:

- Creating and managing purchase orders to initiate the procurement process and track the delivery of goods and services.

**5. Product Selection and Assortment Planning**
- Curate a product assortment within the category, considering factors like product quality, pricing, and consumer demand.

**6. Inventory Management**
- Optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand while minimizing carrying costs.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure that products are in stock when needed, while minimizing overstock and obsolescence.

**7. Product Life Cycle Management**
- Manage the life cycle of products within the category, including product introduction, growth, maturity, and discontinuation.

**8. Compliance and Regulatory Matters**
- Ensure that all products within the category comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.

**9. Vendor Evaluation and Selection**:

- Identify potential vendors and evaluate their performance to determine the best suppliers for the category.

**10. Cross-functional Collaboration**
- Work closely with various departments, such as marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance, to achieve category goals and objectives.

**11. Risk Management**
- Identify and mitigate potential risks that may affect the category's performance, including supply chain disruptions and market fluctuations.

**12. Customer Focus**
- Understand customer needs, preferences, and feedback to adapt the category strategy and offerings accordingly.
