**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Hostel Management**:Oversee the daily operations of the student hostels, ensuring a safe, healthy, and positive living environment.
Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the hostel community.
Organize and supervise hostel activities and events that foster a sense of community and belonging.
Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure timely maintenance and repairs of hostel facilities.
Monitor utilities and manage hostel-related bills, ensuring timely payment and budget adherence.
Conduct regular inspections of hostel premises to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- **Student Support and Engagement**:Provide pastoral care and support to students, addressing their academic, social, and emotional needs.
Develop and implement programs and activities that promote student well-being and community building.
Serve as a point of contact for students and parents regarding student affairs and welfare issues.
- **Academic Guidance**:Monitor and support students' academic progress, collaborating with teachers and academic advisors.
Assist students in setting academic goals and developing effective study habits.
Facilitate workshops and seminars on academic skills, time management, and stress reduction.
- **Cultural and Social Integration**:Support international students in their adjustment to living in Singapore and the school community.
Organize cultural exchange programs, orientation sessions, and social events that promote cross-cultural understanding and integration.
- **Crisis Management**:Respond to emergencies and critical incidents involving students, providing appropriate support and intervention.
Develop and maintain emergency protocols and ensure all students and staff are aware of safety procedures.
- **Administrative Duties**:Maintain accurate records of student interactions, incidents, and interventions.
Prepare reports and documentation related to student affairs and hostel management.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to student support.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in student affairs, hostel management, or a related role, preferably in an international school setting.
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by international students.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Experience in liaising with vendors and managing utilities and bills is a plus.
- Knowledge of Singapore’s educational landscape and regulations is an advantage.
