The Regional HR Head is responsible to establish and implement human resources management strategies and policies that have short-, mid
- and long-term impact on business results in alignment with the corporate organization objectives. He/she leads teams and processes associated in order to meet the people, organization and business needs of the country organizations assigned to the region.
**Key activities**:
- Development of short-, mid
- and long-term HR plans in coordination with the HR CoE leaders to ensure that the required talent and the respective HR processes and progammes are available to execute the business strategy in the relevant countries
- Establishing Human Resources objectives in line with the Global HR strategic plan and the Region’s strategic and tactical business plans
- Partners with Regional Business leaders to review impact of HRM strategies and objectives on business and discuss actions to re-align, if needed
- Establishes Regional and Country HR accountabilities related to the implementation of people and culture programs and processes (talent acquisition/training &development/retention, succession planning, compensation&benefits, health&safety and welfare, diversity, employee/labour relations)
- Monitors the ongoing implementation of people & culture processes, assisting country Human Resources leaders in resolving operational issues and optimizing service quality when needed
- Guides in complex employment and/or employee relation matters by providing Human Resources advice and counsel
- Implementation of recruitment, mobility, talent and compensation processes for Regional and Country Leadership teams
- Assesses, consolidates and reports the effectiveness of people and culture programs and processes in the region using globally established KPIs and regional defined KPIs as applicable
- Assesses and monitors the country HR functions in the region to ensure productivity, quality of HR service and adherence to HR policies, code of ethics, payroll compliance and legislative requirements; has power to enforcing adherence to requirements and initiating corrective actions
- Consolidates and reports effectiveness of Country HR functions, HR processes and programmes to Regional and Global HR leadership
- Monitors and assists workforce planning activities in the region ensuring business requirements and labour market trends are taken into consideration
- Partners with HR CoE leaders to review effectiveness of HR processes and programmes in the region and discuss improvement opportunities
- People management activities for direct reports in Regional HR team
**Projects**
- Participates and coordinates the implementation of new global HR initiatives, programmes and policies in coordination with the HR CoE leaders:
- Drafts high level project implementation plans with timelines, milestones and priorities relevant for the region
- Prepares and cascades the communication to all relevant stakeholders
- Tracks and monitors progress of implementation, identifying and clarifying issues and taking corrective actions, if needed
- Consolidates feedbacks, experiences and results of country HR and shares with HR CoE leaders, proposes improvement actions
- Participation in Global HR projects ad-hoc
**Your Profile**
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a country HR leadership role with a track record of HR programme implementation using technology, HR analytics and metrics to succeed
- Strong business acumen and sound knowledge of all HR functional areas, people processes and best practice approaches, including good understanding of regulations and relevant labour laws
- Project management experience and/or exposure in a multi-country environment and ability to act as a change advocate
- Solid negotiations and influencing skills with the ability to partner closely with business leaders and stakeholders across all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical skills, excellent organization and consolidation skills
- Excellent communications skills and fluency in English (written+verbal) and ability to tailor communication style to diverse audiences
- A solutions focused individual with the agility to work through ambiguity and facilitate conflict resolution processes.
