The Job:

- Responsible for all aspects of HR to achieve company targets
- To ensure accuracy and validity of data for forecasting, manpower planning, and reporting of talent data as per agreed timelines
- Perform risk assessment and provide short
- and long-term retention plans for the region
- Creating, implementing, and updating local policies and processes as per country & Government norms
- To provide guidance and monitor the implementation of SOPs, Company Policies and Company Regulations with relevant department heads and align to the group policy, code of conduct, and the local law
- Ensure practice and implementation of robust internal controls in various processes and work towards zero observations in Audit
- Provide a well-informed and independent opinion on HR matters of the company. Ability to put company interest as a top priority
- To build a good relationship and liaise with Management consultants, other Govt. authorities and contracted people to implement the results for the in favor of the company’s interest.
- Manage work across SG, Indonesia, Philippines, and Vietnam
- Managing Operational matters and routine transactions for the entity through local HR team
- Maintain health and safety protocol at all premises
- Support the HR function in the region and act as a bridge between HQ and the regions
- Set goals, assess, and provide guidance to team members for achieving team and organizational goals through performance management system
- Set training for the teams, global and regional as per training need analysis
- To be partner in validating and monitoring employees benefits and compensation framework
- Conduct Employee engagement activities

The Person:

- Management degree (or equivalent) with HR specialization or dual equivalent specialization
- Experience in lubricants/ allied industry is a must.
- In-depth knowledge of the lubricants market will be beneficial
- Able to demonstrate an overall understanding of the contract negotiation process (i.e., how negotiations are set up, who participates, what issues are discussed); knows a variety of effective negotiation techniques
- Capability to translate customer requirements into business opportunities
