Digital Learning Designer

**Job Purpose**
- The Training Development team is responsible for the onboarding of new hires as well as designing and developing relevant professional programmes aligned to our Core Values in support of the Organisation’s strategic goals.
- The Digital Learning Designer will be responsible for the planning, designing and development of digital and immersive learning resources for SMRT staff. This position will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Learning Solutionist in the course of work.

- Explore and lead in building the team’s capability in emerging learning technologies to facilitate workplace learning, self-directed learning, and immersive learning.
- Design and develop digital and immersive learning resources that are relevant, effective and support learning effectiveness in the areas of operational, technical, and service excellence competencies.
- Work closely with SMEs, Learning Solutionists and Learning Technology Designers to design, develop and validate digital and immersive learning resources.
- Perform the role of learning content curator.
- Evaluate feedback from learners and programme managers to identify areas of improvement and enhance effectiveness of the digital and immersive learning resources.
- Manage external associate learning technology designers and developers.

**Qualifications & Work Experience**
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline with minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in training, multimedia, or digital learning contents development.
- Strong portfolio showing 2D design skills and demonstrating a high level of artistic creativity.
- Preferably ACTA, ACLP or DACE qualified, with good knowledge of Skills Frameworks, adult learning concepts and techniques.

**Technical skills include**:

- Good analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Strong in project management, information management and creative thinking
- Proficient in 2D software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects)
- Proficient in video creation tools such as Camtasia and Vyond
- Familiar with authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and Adobe Captivate
- Knowledge of 2D asset creation (infographics, flowcharts, diagrams, and character design)
- Strong attention to detail and able to do thorough quality checks.
- Preferably with some experience in teaching and facilitating.

- Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills in handling diverse situations and manage individual differences.
