Singapore ML CONSULTING PTE LTD Full time

Manage and operate the School Library System for circulation and online enquiries, database maintenance, e.g. student and staff information, status/location of library collection, online reservation portal for teachers and students to make reservations for books
- Organize/catalogue library collections accordingly to the Dewey Decimal Classification system and/or by genres
- Provision of assistance to English HOD to plan termly library schedules; and assistance to English & Mother Tongue departments to liaise with supplier(s) on the purchase, delivery and verification of library resources acquired.
- Management of library facility for use by school staff for meeting purposes and display of pupils' artworks for library showcase
- Promote library collection, services and activities through thematic/new arrivals/promotional displays, newsletters, and school's Message/Broadcast system and special events managed by the School Library Committee (e.g. Character Day, International Friendship Day, Reading Quests)
- Parent volunteer management in support of library programmes, events and activities
- Provision of assistance to teachers in all activities conducted in the library (e.g. Values in Action (VIA))
- Any other duties as assigned by Teacher-In-Charge, Administrative Manager and School Leaders

Commitment Period:
WORKING HOURS:

- Monday to Thursday: 8.00am to 5.00pm (45 min lunch break)
- Friday: 8.00am to 4.30pm (45 min lunch break)

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Min GCE 'O' Levels
- Min 3 year of experience working in library preferred
- Proficient in English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
