[What the role is]
NYP Library is seeking Senior Librarian/Librarian to support the management and provision of library resources and services for the NYP community to meet their teaching and learning needs.
**[What you will be working on]**:
- **Plan, coordinate and perform collection development and management functions to facilitate provision **of resources.**:
- **Administer, manage and enhance frontline circulation services, library management systems and related functions.**:
- **Coordinate, maintain and oversee physical and electronic records/files to support NYP records management functions.**:
- **Develop and deliver digital and physical library events, training sessions and promotional activities to **foster collaboration **between NYP Library and stakeholders.**:
- **Lead and/or participate in projects, task forces and committees in support of NYP/library initiatives.**:
- **Recommend solutions to streamline workflows for efficiency and p **erform any other related duties as assigned.**:
**[What we are looking for]**:
- **A relevant qualification in Library and/or Information Science, preferably with knowledge in library management systems.**:
- **At least 3 to 4 years of experience, preferably in library field.**:
- **Proficiency with tools and technologies to support new digital initiatives will be an added advantage.**:
- **Good problem solving and analytical skills**:
- **Effective team player who is detail-oriented and able to multi-task.**:
- **Good engagement, communication (written and verbal) and organisational skills.**:
