**What you will be working on**
- As Executive/ Senior Executive/ Manager/ Senior Manager (Media Relations), you will be part of a dynamic Media Relations team that formulates, drives, and implements the communications approach for issues under MHA’s purview. You will be responsible for communicating the Home Team’s policies to the public through the media. Your responsibilities include supporting the Senior Assistant Director/Deputy Director to: - Prepare strategic communications plans for policy announcements/ updates, issues, incidents and events pertaining to MHA - Execute media operations to achieve MHA’s desired communications outcomes, including facilitation of media briefings and interviews, as well as replies to media queries. - Coordinate closely with other MHA Divisions, Home Team Departments and Statutory Boards as well as other Government agencies in the process. - Monitoring and analysis of media reporting.

**What we are looking for**
- Strong interest in current affairs, especially those that concern MHA's work - Keen interest in public comms and media relations - Strong command of written English; proficiency in a vernacular language will be an asset - Strong interpersonal skills, as the job will involve interaction with a wide range of internal (e.g. public service) and external (e.g. media) stakeholders - Self-motivated, analytical and meticulous officer, who is an excellent team player
