Vp - Asia Business Coverage Lead - Equity

**Responsibilities**
- Support Asia Head of Equity Derivatives Technology in regional initiatives & deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with trading desk heads, product dev and technology teams to define and execute the technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives in the APAC region, including scoping, planning, coordination, and delivery to drive operational excellence and enhance business performance.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory and data governance standards, managing APAC Equity Derivatives regulatory inquiries and initiatives.
- Adequately represent Equity Derivatives technology in Regional Governance forums - putting together a Delivery & BoW roadmap pertaining to Asia.
- Collate and maintain Regional Derivatives BoW providing transparency to trading desk heads and technology management.
- Provide business partners in APAC region with a local point of communication across our platforms and projects.
- Coordinate with Risk and Controls team, Trading, MO, Operations, Regulators, and Compliance for a timely completion of audit assessments
- Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability, ensuring strong cross-functional teamwork across Equities tech and alignment to project goals and objectives
- Effectively communicate project progress, status, and key decisions to stakeholders, including senior management, and provide regular updates on project metrics, risk and dependencies.
- Review Production stability stats year on year - Ensure production stability by proactively planning for increased capacity and retiring dependencies on legacy infra
- Work closely in partnership with Production support & global functional leads to create a self-sufficient support model during APAC trading hours and escalation policy
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the local and regional business stakeholders, peers and other technology team members both locally, regionally and where appropriate globally.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 5 years working as a Business Analyst in Investment Banking Technology.
- Extensive knowledge of derivative products, preferably Equities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to various types of audience (business and technology) at appropriate level in clear and concise manner
- Proven delivery track record of complex projects involving multiple business stakeholders and teams across development, QA, infrastructure and risk and controls that spans planning, execution, control and closure.
- Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
- Sound knowledge of SQL and database navigation is essential
- Good working knowledge of Excel, JIRA & Confluence
- Good prioritization and time management skills
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision on multiple concurrent projects and/or issues
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to manage & influence people across different geographic locations.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or Technology
- Courses/advanced degree in Finance would be a plus
