Our world-leading SIFT-MS technique is the fastest and most precise gas analysis technology available, providing real-time analysis for companies such as Samsung, Micron, P&G, and other industry leaders.
We are looking for an energetic and self-driven
**Regional Sales Manager**:
- South East Asia **who has proven experience in Business Development, Account Management and Technical Sales in analytical instrumentation and/or Mass-Spec, within the Semiconductor industry.
In this high-impact, autonomous, customer-facing role you will act as the left hand of the Vice President and work closely with our regional support teams, and senior leaders in Syft. You will also be identifying and developing appropriate sales agents and establishing regional sales strategies.
This role is a full-time, permanent position. Frequent travel (> 50%) to customers sites in Southeast Asia, China, and Japan is required. The possible primary locations of this role can be in Taiwan or Singapore.
**Typical responsibilities include**:
- Sales strategic development activities across the SEA Region.
- Execute strategies to drive and grow system sales primarily in the end-user semiconductor manufacturing segment as well as seek out OEM opportunities that can become a consistent business for Syft.
- Develop strong sales agent relationships to maximize Syft exposure across all semiconductor fabs in the SEA regions.
- Build a synergistic relationship with the Semiconductor Product and Marketing Manager that will assure that key information and details are always fed into Syft Product Development and Applications / Science departments
- Become a strong customer advocate as well as an ambassador of Syft to the SEA customer base.
**What you will bring to the role**:
You will have experience working within the Semiconductor manufacturers within the SEA region and have been successfully selling technically complex capital equipment. You have a solid foundation of science and engineering understanding and can articulate complex information and gain your customer confidence
- A postgraduate degree.
- Understanding of the Semiconductor fabs, budget cycles and processes of getting a Syft system accepted into a Semiconductor fab.
- Semiconductor capital equipment sales experience.
- Experience with Mass-Spectrometry or analytical instrumentation is preferred.
- Have excellent people, communication, and organisational skills with a focus on developing strong customer relationships.
- A proven ability to understand customers’ cases and the technical make-up of analytical/scientific instrumentation.
- Self-starter who can work independently and you are comfortable working through complex problems.
- Good command of English, and preferably Mandarin.
- A team player that builds consensus through excellent communication and team effort and support.
- A good understanding of engineering and science and a high willingness to learn.
