**About the role - you will**:

- Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify firmware/software for hard disk drive testing.
- Comprehend and troubleshoot all disk drive subsystems, including servo, mechanical, read/write, electronics, controller firmware, and factory test processes.
- Conduct bench-level tests and perform data analysis to diagnose and resolve HDD failures.
- Support failure analysis (FA) activities related to firmware issues.
- Develop and release Test Process Codes, including PF3 and SF3 packages.
- Collaborate with design engineering teams, including Controller Firmware, Test Process Engineering, Servo Firmware, Product teams, and product development Core Teams, to support development efforts and resolve issues.
- Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities and thrive in a collaborative, multi-functional, and international team environment.

- Experience in HDD firmware development.
- Solid engineering knowledge and excellent data analytical skills.
