Over the past 24 months Kontakt.io has grown the team from 30 to 90 people and quadrupled our annual recurring revenue - all while remaining extremely capital efficient. Now, we are entering the next stage of growth. We are currently looking for:
**Enterprise IoT Solutions Director of Sales - USA**
As a Sales Director of Enterprise IoT Solutions, you will get the chance to work with top-level technical sales professionals. Success in this position requires solid acumen with technical solutions, a passion for talking with people, problem-solving, persistence, flexibility, proactiveness identifying opportunities and a strong drive to generate new business in the smart buildings industry
Success will be measured based on:
Attainment of individual quarterly revenue goals.
Strategic targeting of identified industries, markets, customers.
Proactive identification of and selling to new customer opportunities.
**The scope of the responsibilities will include**:
- Lead development and sales execution for Kontakt.io opportunities in your territory focused on the smart buildings industry.
- Achieve and exceed sales quota through identifying, qualifying, and closing business.
- Manage complete sales-cycles.
- Plan and manage the sales relationship between Kontakt.io and its most important strategic partners.
- Set up and negotiate frame contracts & agreements with strategic customers.
- Build market sector knowledge/intelligence and become a trusted advisor to your clients.
- Evangelize how Kontakt.io’s evolving product line solves complex business problems.
- Work with Sales Development and Customer Success to manage the entire customer journey.
- Properly document and track all prospect and customer information in the CRM.
**Key skills and experience desired**:
- Experience in the RTLS, IoT, Location Technology solutions. Smart Building industry knowledge preferred.
- 5+ years in key sales roles.
- Track record of over-achieving quota (top 5-10% of a company) in past positions.
- Hunter Mentality.
- Experience in developing international strategic accounts, acting locally and in HQ organizations.
- Experience demonstrating high-tech products and solutions-based selling.
- Experience working with, motivating, and driving Channel sales.
- A track record of developing and closing business.
- Prospecting / Outbound / Cold Calling experience.
- Ability to communicate efficiently and persuasively with a large assortment of people.
- Organization and time management skills, with the ability to cope with fluctuating workload.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new and varied job tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Incredible attention to detail, to ensure accurate use of internal systems and processing of information.
- Analytical, technical and problem-solving skills that can be applied to real-world solutions.
- Willing to travel up to 50%.
- Home-office based position.
