**Responsibilities**:

- Achieve trade portfolio targets by assuming profit or loss responsibilities.
- Approve decisions on future trade renewals, changes or termination.
- Approve trades that are beyond stipulated limitsand trade negotiation strategies.
- Design strategies and plans to promote value creation for key trade partners.
- Drive partnerships with derivatives trading team to manage risks from trades performed via structured trades.
- Ensure organisation's controls are followed to safeguard commodity portfolio positions.
- Guide assets trading strategies to account for various market trends or economic conditions.
- Guide resolution approaches based on organisational policies and procedures on trade contracts or performance issues of key trade partners.
- Lead financial budgeting process to acquire funds for the department.
- Lead in the identification of commodity classes' trading opportunities.
- Manage the professional and career development of staff.
- Review performance of commodity portfolio against strategic objectives.

**Requirements**:

- BSc and/or postgraduate/Professional Qualification in Finance/Mathematics or any other related field
- At least 10 years of successful experience in Trading in international markets
- Ability to lead, coach and mentor teams
- Excellent analytical and technical skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills
- Strong strategy and business planning skills
- Strong leadership and people development capabilities
