**About the Team**
The Partnerships team creates and manages relationships with Rapyd’s ecosystem and channel partners to build new merchant relationships in expanding categories like e-commerce platforms, B2B services marketplaces, SIs/ISVs/VARs, SaaS/Baas players among others, by deploying solutions that leverage Rapyd’s and our partners’ capabilities for new value and growth. Rapyd’s products include Collect, Disburse & Issuing and the Rapyd Global Payment Network offers payment capabilities in over 100 markets.
As these are strategic partnerships to acquire new merchants, this role requires an experienced partnerships sales and business development executive who can identify potential partners, structure deals, and manage internal stakeholders & processes to bring them to fruition. You will also need to collaborate across the Rapyd team to drive growth from these complex & strategic cross-functional partnerships as well as high volume partnerships with at-scale partners.
**Responsibilities**:
- Drive sale and adoption of Rapyd’s services through ecosystem & channel partners across the APAC region
- Identify and acquire new partnerships to secure new merchants and payment volumes
- Own the entire lifecycle from prospecting to sales/BD through and engagement after launch
- Create persuasive partner presentations to engage and close key partnerships using market trends, case studies and existing product & marketing collateral
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth launch of newly signed partners
- Establish best practices for joint selling and marketing within a partner’s base
**Requirements**:
- Exceptional partnership sales manager with a passion for fintech/start-ups and to build a new business from the ground up
- 4+ years of experience in channel partnerships sales in SEA/APAC with a good understanding of the ecosystem and existing relationships with key stakeholders in B2B service providers, SaaS & BaaS players, SIs/VARs/ISVs, e-commerce platforms/marketplaces etc.
- Self-starter, fast learner with a must-do spirit and the ability to independently drive negotiations to completion. excellent sales and strong networking skills
- Excellent verbal and written English; fluency in a local Asian language(s) for regional client needs is a plus
- Enjoy working as a close-knit team and driving successful shared outcomes within a dynamic & high-growth start-up environment
- Ability to gracefully take on multiple projects and be keen to embrace opportunities
- A B.A degree or equivalent work experience (degree in a relevant technical domain or postgraduate business degree a plus)
