Roles & Responsibilities

Description:

- Ensure that a solid RBS and DF process is in place across the region in order to provide full transparency on forecasts, gaps, risks and opportunities
- Drive the execution / consolidation / reporting of the different planning cycles (RBS, DF) across the countries within NPP AOA, coordinating with the co-pilots and other business partners (marketing, supply chain, technical, human resources) using appropriate management tools for the planning process (guidelines, calendar and task allocation)
- Promote Business Planning Best Practices (i.e. One Number Principles, planning cycles) and Tools across the organisation/ markets and ensure alignment with operational processes.
- Coordinate and lead regular regional controller/market meetings to review monthly performance and identify areas of risk to achievement of targets and forecasts and develop/follow up action plans
- Ensure that planning tools work efficiently, working procedures are documented, and that there is integration and consistency within system and scope
- Stewards of the Financial Planning process for Financial Planning deliverables & assumptions for financial plans. Ensure timely dissemination of related information to all stakeholders
- Active role in people development in Regional Business planning and Reporting.
- Provide transparency on main business KPI’s across NPP AOA Region via the establishment of standardized and relevant reports, dashboards and analysis (Weekly Sales, RIG, P&L) while maintaining accurate and timely financial records in full compliance with corporate standards
- Act as a central point of contact between the Markets and the Centre in relation to Accounting & Reporting standards
- Enforce Group Corporate Governance compliance (NIBSS Certificates)
- Pursue First Time Quality & timelines of financial reporting
- Develop, manage, and communicate Adhoc financial initiatives

Requirement:

- BA/BS with major or minor in Accounting or Finance, or BA/BS with coursework up to and including intermediate accounting.
- Formal accountancy qualification.
- 4-6 years experience in controlling.
- Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience.
- Proficiency in English and language of the market (where applicable)
