Working with our client, in diversified business within energy & environment, urban development, connectivity and asset management to hire an **Assistant General Manager / Head - Risk (Group Risk and Compliance). **This is a leadership role for the GRC Risk team and across Risk Management in the Group, reporting into Group Head, GRC to manage the execution of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework across the Group through close collaboration with the BU Risk teams and BUs.

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**
- Work closely with the BU Risk teams to ensure that key risks are identified and reported to their BU Boards and submitted to GRC in quarterly risk submissions
- Drive the assessment of Group level risks with the BUs.
- Enhance the Risk Framework as the Group evolves with our Vision 2030 strategy - developing a Portfolio Risk Management approach as the Group moves towards an asset-light model and enhancing the Risk Framework to be a forward-looking assessment of key risks and indicators.
- Develop and lead new Risk initiatives
- Lead the cyber security risk and BCM team in GRC as a line 2 function, working closely with Group Cyber Security who is the line 1 function. GRC is responsible for the Group BCM Framework and the Group Crisis Management and Incident Response Plan.
- Oversee the BCM exercises conducted across the Group.
- Lead the Insurance risk team in GRC. Driving the Group’s cyber insurance placement programme with the insurance broker, across all Bus & lead the insurance optimisation project across the Group.
- Design and conduct ERM training and Risk Workshops as an annual exercise to assist the BU Risk teams and BU to refresh their top risks.
- Review major investment deals to independently review and challenge investment assumptions.
- Responsible for the preparation and presentation of Risk Management papers for quarterly Board Risk Committee (BRC), Group BCM Steering Committee meetings, and management executive meetings

**Job Requirements**
- Recognised Degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics. A post-graduate qualification in business/finance is an advantage.
- Min 16 years of relevant experience in Operations Risk/Market Risk Management, Internal Audit or External Audit, or Consulting. Industry exposure in MNCs, large corporates, or financial institutions across multiple geographies.
- Experience in dealing with major regulators in Asia and globally.
- Experience in stakeholder management at very senior levels. Strong communication and report writing skills.
