**Patent Scientist (Chemistry) Singapore**
**We are looking for a Patent Scientist with a chemistry background to join our team in Singapore on a full-time basis.

**About You**

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION**
- PhD in chemistry, preferably with expertise in synthetic chemistry, materials science, additive manufacturing, membrane science, semiconductor and/or battery related technologies
- post doctoral and/or industry experience will be viewed favourably
- a legal background is not required

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Outstanding organisation and communication skills with an excellent command of the English language and the ability to clearly and concisely communicate in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clients with high quality advice and personalised service.
- Strong interest in science and technology
- Ability to readily assimilate and critically analyse complex information, and think laterally.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to and interest in business development.
- Prepared to undertake further (part-time) studies to qualify as a Patent Attorney.
