Patent Scientist (Chemistry) Singapore
We are looking for a Patent Scientist with a chemistry
background to join our team in Singapore on a full-time basis.
Your day to day work will involve all aspects of private patent
attorney practice. This includes liaising with inventors and
corporate clients, drafting patent specifications, conducting due
diligence, providing patentability, patent infringement and patent
prepare, prosecute, analyse and provide opinions on patent
will also cover other related areas in life science and materials
sciences.

pass the necessary examinations to qualify as a Patent
Attorney.
About You

**Qualifications**:
PhD in chemistry, preferably with expertise in synthetic
chemistry, materials science, additive manufacturing, membrane
science, semiconductor and/or battery related technologies
post doctoral and/or industry experience will be viewed
favourably
a legal background is not required
Skills required
Outstanding organisation and communication skills with an
excellent command of the English language and the ability to
clearly and concisely communicate in writing.
Demonstrated ability to provide clients with high quality
advice and personalised service.
Strong interest in science and technology
Ability to readily assimilate and critically analyse
complex information, and think laterally.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and
collaboratively in a team environment.
Commitment to and interest in business development.
Prepared to undertake further (part-time) studies to
qualify as a Patent Attorney.
