**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for development of in-house mass spectrometry assays to support the advancement of novel antibody drug conjugate (ADC) programs
- Design and execute a wide range of LC-MS assays for characterization of ADCs and antibodies (including but not limited to Drug-Antibody Ratio, free drug, intact mass, peptide mapping)
- Perform high quality LC-MS data analysis of ADCs and antibodies to support screening activities for early stage programs
- Provide strong technical expertise and guidance to the team and lead complex troubleshooting activities when required
- Liaise and work effectively with external stakeholders (e.g. CROs/ CDMOs) to ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner by providing input and expertise when required
- Lead initiatives to improve and increase throughput of existing LC-MS workflows
- Effectively communicate and present scientific findings to stakeholders
- Work closely with the team to support implementation of new cutting-edge tools and techniques for ADC and antibody drug discovery and development cycle
- Produce accurate documentation such as reports, presentations, protocols and SOPs to record detailed procedures, data and results and deliver the results within expected timelines
- Perform administrative duties including regular updates, maintenance of lab and equipment, consumables order and inventory to ensure smooth operation in the team
- Contribute to the overall safety and organization of the laboratory

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS**
- BSc or higher in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in mass spectrometry in a biopharma industry and/or academia
- Strong knowledge or experience in the antibody and/ or ADC field
- In depth experience in method development to support LC-MS analysis for complex biomolecules like ADCs/ antibodies
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Able to work both independently and collaborate as an effective team player
- Agility to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS**
- Experience withs QTOF and/or Triple Quad and UNIFI software
- Experience in working within a GxP environment
- Experience in working alongside CRO and CDMOs
