Student Management Officer

This advertisement is recruiting for the position of Student Management Officer.
If successfully selected, you will be seconded to MOE secondary school located in Yishun.
**Contract Period**: from 1 Apr 2025 to 31 Dec 2025
**Option to Extend**:for a further period of 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026.
**Personnel to be deployed at the following hours**:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:30am, inclusive of 1 hr lunch break.
- Fridays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 1 hr lunch break.
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
**The services required are set out as follows**:
- Being a strong **advocate**of Positive Discipline.
- Supporting the Student Discipline Unite in **creation**and **maintaining of a positive school tone**during school hours by patrolling the school compound (classroom blocks, toilets, special rooms etc) and engaging identified at-risk students and general student body.
- Supporting the Student Discipline Unite in **investigating serious offences and engaging parents, if need be**:
- Assists the Student Discipline Unit in maintaining and upkeep of disciplinary records (print & soft copies)
- Assist in I **ntervention Programmes**(e.g. In-House Suspension Detention Casses & Students-In-Risk counselling) run by Student Discipline Unite: AND
- **Making routine checks**in the school premises (during school hours) and nearby areas outside the school (as when required) such as nearby neighborhood void decks etc to ensure that students are not engaging in unauthorized or improper activities, as deployed by the Student Discipline Unit.
**The personnel shall mínimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience**:
- At least O level Certificate with 3 passes.
- Excellent team-player who is organized, meticulous and with the ability to multi-task.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
