The key roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Lead and grow the Optical Components and Optical Systems Teams
Formulate scientific research directions and innovative proposals to secure competitive funding
Understand the technology landscape (industry demand, technology push and research activity) for Autonomous Manufacturing and identify opportunities and challenges for Optics-led Manufacturing Inspection and Vision
**Job Requirements**:
PhD degree in Optics, Lasers, Physics or other relevant disciplines
Good track record of scientific publications in leading journals/conferences.
History of successful industry engagement and project delivery.
Good verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills in engaging peers and management.
Self-motivation, ability to adapt to change and use initiative, proactive team player mindset are highly desirable traits.
**Type of Employment**: Full-Time
**Minimum Experience**: 2 Years
