For this newly created role, we are looking for a strategic, globally-minded **Head of Retail Training APAC** to spearhead the design, implementation, and communication of Flash Coffee's Training philosophy, strategy, programs, and initiatives. Our Baristas are at the heart of our growth. This leader will partner directly with Flash Coffee's Operations and People Team to bring new distinction to its barista value proposition through innovation, disruption and organization-wide impact aiming for an effective and efficient training program

**You will**:

- Oversee and be fully responsible for the Retail Training & Learning framework, to ensure that our baristas engage through the learning content as well as are well prepared to deliver world class service
- Further develop, design, implement as well as manage new Learning & Development initiatives for our Retail team; implement process to identify training needs & gaps
- Lead learning content development on regional level covering classroom training and in-store training, food quality and customer service training
- Design, facilitate and incorporate new methodology in workshops with local Barista Trainer teams to expand our knowledge and experiences
- Lead build up of the Learning Management System to manage the learning database in a digital platform across the entire region
- Design and implement courses to also aid Area managers' and Store managers' management knowledge and skills

**Requirements**:

- 8+ years of learning management and leadership experience guiding diverse teams in Retail space (service intensive business like e.g F&B, hospitality, travel)
- Broad experience in project and program management
- Deep understanding of Coffee and experience in Coffee House chains is a plus
- Proven track record of building positive working relationships at all organisational levels
- Excellent analytical & data analysis skills, incl. working knowledge of learning & development KPIs
- Skilled in & passionate about setting up & improving processes
- Passionate about Coffee as well as serving guests
- Entrepreneurial mindset
