YouTube has seen tremendous growth in Japan. Millions of Japanese users use YouTube to enjoy a diverse range of content produced by a dynamic and vibrant creator and partner ecosystem.

As Influencer Marketing Strategy & Operation Specialist, you will help build and manage the influencer marketing strategy and execution for YouTube Shorts Marketing in Japan. You will work closely with the Japan YouTube Marketing and Japan and APAC YouTube Social & Influencer Marketing team to design and deliver effective paid and earned influencer marketing campaigns and programs end to end - from strategy and planning, to content management and amplification, overall project management, and ongoing optimisation. You will work with cross-functional teams, and manage relationships with internal and external partners to get things done. You will also ensure relevant analysis is done to measure goal achievement and influence decisions.

Your work is instrumental in developing the YouTube business in the region.

We need someone who is excited about YouTube and has both extensive knowledge of the Creator Economy and data-driven influencer marketing. You will wear many hats - a rigorous strategist making decisions based on data, a project manager and a partner manager.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**:
**Responsibilities**
- Contribute to the influencer strategy, operations, optimization & growth of campaigns and programs In Japan in partnership with local agencies and partnerships team
- Track and analyze performance to craft actionable insights and provide recommendations, both tactical and strategic
- Keep up to date with best practices and industry trends to identify opportunities
- Use data analysis and strategic storytelling to effective present ideas to internal stakeholders across countries and levels
- Manage agency partners to develop plans and assets
- Must be comfortable with:

- Writing social media briefs
- Analyzing social media data
- Working with cross functional and regional teams
- Constant experimentation and content innovations by identifying breakthrough content opportunities

**WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE**:
Minimum Qualifications (MQs)
- **4+ years** of experience in Digital Media and/or Influencer Marketing Management - strong data and performance marketing background preferred
- Passion for the YouTube ecosystem, Creator culture and current social and video trends
- Strong English verbal and writing skills and strong Japanese verbal and writing skills is a must.
- Experience in effectively communicating and influencing business stakeholders in Japan
- Excellent analytical skills to measure success and inform future initiatives, experience with influencer platforms (eg. Creator IQ, Tubular) preferred
- Ability to prioritise between short-term demands and long-term needs
- Proven track record of developing sound strategies and running effective and efficient campaigns that meet and exceed targets through test-and-learn and optimization
- Solid project management experience and commitment to quality and attention to detail
- Experience working with agencies and teams to drive execution
- Passionate about working as part of a larger team to deliver on a common goal
- A growth mindset who is willing to get stuck in and learn
