Senior Technical Consultant for Digital Banking

**Job Description**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Consultant for Digital Banking to
join our team as we embark on an exciting journey to build and launch our new digital bank. In this
scalable, and secure digital banking platform.
As a Senior Technical Consultant for Digital Banking, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional
teams, including business stakeholders, functional consultants, IT developers, and architects. Your
primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and guidance in the design,
development, and implementation of the digital banking platform.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the technical transformation efforts by providing expertise in developing and
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional consultants to understand
- requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Architect and design the digital banking platform, ensuring scalability, security, and
- compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement and customize software solutions,
- integrating various components and systems to achieve a seamless user experience.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems, processes, and interfaces to identify areas of
- improvement and propose technical solutions to enhance performance and functionality.
- Define and document technical specifications, system architectures, and integration
- patterns for the digital banking platform.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to
- best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate with testing teams to design and execute test plans, ensuring the quality and
- reliability of the digital banking platform.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and challenges during the
- development and implementation phases.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in the digital banking
- industry, and provide recommendations for technology adoption and innovation.
**Requirements**:
- Overall, 10 years’ experience in banking transformation programmes and proven experience
- (4+ years) in a similar technical role, preferably within the banking or financial services
- industry.
- Strong understanding of digital banking concepts, technologies, and architectures.
- Proficiency in software development methodologies and languages, such as Java,.NET,
- Python, or similar.
- Experience with web development frameworks, APIs, microservices, and cloud-based
- architectures.
- Solid understanding of banking systems and integration techniques, including API
- management, ESB, and middleware.
- Familiarity with security standards, data encryption, and regulatory compliance in the
- banking industry.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot
- complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional
- teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver high-quality
- results within established timelines.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management principles.
