**Overview**

As an Associate Psychologist in Early Intervention Services, you will be supporting caregivers in promoting the development of their young children with developmental needs under the supervision of a senior psychologist. The role will include a combination of these duties: conducting pre and post assessments; training caregivers to promote the development of their children; and performing administration work.

**Responsibilities**

You will be to carry out the following activities under supervision:
1. Conduct pre and post assessments with children and their caregivers

2. Share assessment results with caregivers

3. Train caregivers to promote the development of their children with developmental needs through conducting workshops, modelling strategies to caregivers on their children, getting caregivers to practice the strategies and providing feedback to caregivers on their use of the strategies. You will be required to conduct some home visits and to work on some Saturday mornings

4. Perform administration duties including documenting notes, arranging appointments, preparing materials for training preparing and submitting reports e.g., monthly KPI tracking as required

5. Carry out any other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer/Management

**Requirements**:
1. Educational qualifications and work experience
- A Minimum degree in Psychology with at least a Second Upper Class Honours

2. Experience
- Possess appropriate comfort level in working with preschoolers and their families within the community setting
- Experience working in early childhood settings or with preschoolers is preferred

3. Other qualities
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary/trans-disciplinary team
- Demonstrate interest and enthusiasm in professional work with children and families
- Good report writing and communication skills
- Fluency in local languages will be an advantage
- Open to learning and receptive to feedback
