**Overview**

This full-time position is for the role of a principal/ senior psychologist to lead the team of psychologists and associate psychologists in St Andrews Autism Centre working with adults with autism and / or developmental disabilities in the community setting. This role primarily aims to lead the team in delivering a complete suite of psychological services to enhance and uplift the Quality of Life of persons with autism, doing this through supporting the team as they provide behavioural support, life skills training, family support and psychoeducation to enable people with autism to lead dignified and meaningful lives.

**Responsibilities**

1. Conduct Psychological Assessments
- Provide psychological expertise for clinically complex cases during multi-disciplinary/ transdisciplinary team discussion and case conferences

2. Deliver Intervention
- Provide holistic frontline support with fellow Allied Professionals and other frontline leaders through a multi-disciplinary/ transdisciplinary case management approach for beneficiaries with higher support needs
- Lead the team in the design and implementation of programmes and interventions catered to supporting individuals with autism, inclusive of Positive Behaviour Support and other systemic supports
- Evaluate interventions and services for refinement and improvement in local context based on research and trends

3. Build stakeholder relationships or capacity
- Lead the team in provision of training in relevant areas (e.g., regulation in classrooms etc) for supporting clients and their caregivers
- Lead the team in provision of mentoring to frontline staff in the school, Day Activity Centre and residential Home as to upskill frontline staff to better support persons with autism on a daily basis

4. Uplift professional practice in psychology
- Supervise psychologists and associate psychologists to nurture their clinical and professional skills, such that the broader team can collectively serve the beneficiaries well
- Lead improvements in models of care and service delivery based on research and emerging trends with other frontline leaders
- Participate, facilitate and present in CPH professional development platforms for knowledge-sharing and enhancement of professional skills

5. Others
- Provide administrative duties relevant to clinical practices and as required of the SSA
- Attend CPH meetings and events when necessary
- Prepare and submit monthly reports, i.e., monthly KPI tracking as required
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by reporting officer or Management

6. Self-development
- Attend CPH/SSA endorsed training/workshops/seminars so as to develop relevant knowledge and skills
- Receive formal supervision from CPH’s approved supervisors as part of professional development

**Requirements**:
1. Educational qualifications
- A recognised Masters’ degree in Psychology from an accredited university. The programme must include a supervised practicum and supervised training in psychological assessment and intervention
- Be eligible for registration with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) (Full Membership) and Singapore Register of Psychologists (SRP)

2. Knowledge and experience
- Relevant experience working with either children or adults with autism will be an advantage
- Experience in administering psychoeducational assessment tools and providing intervention based on Positive Behaviour Support is preferable

3. Other qualities
- Self-motivated with strong oral and written communication skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in multi-disciplinary team
- Exceptional planning and organisational skills
- Fluency in local languages
