Internship: Research On Key Population Issues

**What the role is**
- The Policy & Planning directorate in PMO-SG is looking for 1 - 2 intern(s) for a 6 to 12-week internship project.

**What you will be working on**
- The intern will be involved in research to: (i) understand key population trends, (ii) examine the challenges and opportunities these trends present, (iii) study the implications on our society and economy, and (iv) provide recommendations on how the government can partner key stakeholders to approach these issues. For examples of key population trends, please refer to the Population in Brief publication. There will be some flexibility provided to work with the team to scope out the project in detail. At the end of the project, the intern will present the research, analysis and policy recommendations to our management. Where opportune, we will also involve the intern in NPTD's day-to-day tasks and projects (e.g. NPTD's Annual Population-in-Brief publication)

- Interest in social, population issues & policy-making - Self-motivated, keen to learn, mature and effective team player with initiative - Ability to do independent research and analysis - Good interpersonal and communication skills - Proficient with Microsoft Office, including MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel - Resourceful, organised and meticulous
