Population Health Researcher

We are seeking a skilled Research Fellow to join our team and contribute to advancing population health research. As a key member of our centre, you will play a vital role in investigating the effects of the built environment on our health.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Social Science, Biostatistics, Public Health, Urban Planning, Geography, Health Economics or a related field. They should possess at least 3 years of experience in population health research and be proficient in using advanced data analytics software or qualitative analysis tools.

You will work closely with our Principal Investigator and partners to develop grant proposals and study plans, assist with study design and planning, oversee the execution of studies, manage timelines and budget, and prepare abstracts, posters, manuscripts and reports. Additionally, you will lead a team of junior researchers and provide technical supervision.

A PhD degree is essential for this role, as is a track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals. Strong quantitative or qualitative research skills are also required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with being highly motivated and an independent team player, are highly desirable.
