Roles & Responsibilities

**Working hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 4.30pm**

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain resources and apparatus in 2 Science laboratories
- Liaise with teachers on the coverage of syllabus for the preparation of the laboratories
- Prepare the resources and apparatus related to Science experiments for the 2 laboratories and the 4 mobile lab carts
- Monitor the usage of the laboratories and report the usage to the HOD/SH
- Maintain a loaning system for desk-copies and teaching resources for 4 levels of Science classes.
- Assist in the setting up, clearing and cleaning of demonstration apparatus.
- Replacement of broken equipment from stock and be responsible for all equipment used in the teaching of science
- Keep a stock book and breakage record and to indicate necessary replacements
- Prepare an inventory of stocks annually
- Perform any other related duties as and when assigned by the HOD (Science)
- Assist teachers when conducting practical lessons and tests in ensuring sufficient equipment for the pupils during the practical lessons and tests

**Requirements**:

- Min ‘O’ levels
- At least 2 years’ experience preferably in school science laboratory.
- Preferably have some basic Microsoft Word and Excel skill.
- Preferably with relevant working experience in a primary school and office admin support.
