**THE OPPORTUNITY**
- This is an exciting opportunity to join us as an Senior HR Manager to lead our Southeast Asia HR function. This is a senior role overseeing a growing, diverse, and exciting sub-region within Asia. This role will provide sound commercial advice to our partners and business services leaders across the region, and ensure that excellent HR service is delivered across our Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Jakarta offices. With key responsibilities of:

**Lead SE Asia HR Team**
- Lead, mentor and guide the SE Asia HR team with courage and empathy

**Business Partnering and HR strategy**
- Act as strategic, commercial partner to the business
- Provide expertise to diagnose and analyse issues within the business
- Take an active role as part of the Asia HR Leadership team in shaping the HR strategy for the region
- Ensure performance is actively managed, succession plans are in place
- Provide expert guidance and support leaders with employee relations issues
- Ensure excellent integration and seamless HR support to our associated firms (Prolegis and HBT)

**Compensation and Benefits**
- Work closely with the Reward team on an effective and efficient performance and salary review process, and ensure that benefits are appropriate and competitive

**Resourcing and mobility**
- Liaise and work closely with the Asia Resourcing team to ensure recruitment needs are met in the region
- Oversee moves into, out of, and around the region. Work closely with the International Mobility team to ensure we have the right people in the right place at the right time. Ensure a smooth secondee experience
- Work with the Graduate Recruitment Manager and local teams to ensure trainee and internship programmes run smoothly

**Operational HR**
- Oversee all operational HR across South East Asia ensuring an excellent standard of service and ensuring all compliance needs are met
- Support ongoing improvement of HR processes
- Stay up to date with employment law and regulations across the region

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s degree, with at least 8 years human resources experience ideally in a legal or professional services firm
- Happy immersed in HR operations and looks for opportunities to run all HR activities across the employee life cycle with intelligent effort and an engaging manner
- Ability to take a strategic lead in the management and delivery of HR activities
- Experience of working with different cultures and the different approaches required to achieve a positive outcome
- Respect for and supporter of diversity and inclusivity
- Strong oral and written communication skills and excellent English fluency
- Exposure to Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thai employment law is preferred. Knowledge of relevant law society regulations is desirable
- Excellent stakeholder management skills. In any situation considers who are the stakeholders, their needs and how best to communicate with them
- Experience of working with HR systems and using data to advise good business decisions
