The general responsibilities of a Head of Legal include building up and implementing internal policies, managing an organization's buildings and grounds, monitoring the upkeep of equipment and supplies, assessing and scheduling repairs or restoration projects, and arranging safety inspections.

**Job Responsibilities / Tasks**
- Build up and implement internal policies, code of conduct, contract management and other legal issues of Singapore subsidiary
- Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and modifying contracts and other legal documents
- Deal with the dispute and litigation affairs in cooperation with external law firms
- Participate in all kinds of transactions and commercial negotiations, including M&A, land acquisition, investment, financing, company restructuring, etc.
- Manage and supervise the whole legal department of the Singapore subsidiary and be part of the company decision-making process
- Fulfil local and international compliance requirements, including AML, FCPA, GDPR, etc.
- Complete other tasks assigned by headquarter of the Group

**Requirements**:

- Graduate from reputable law school
- PQE 7 years in legal, with at least 3 years at a reputable law firm and with management experience in a mid-sized team
- Logistics-related working experience is a must
- Effectively bilingual with good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin. (To communicate and liaise with Chinese-speaking overseas and local counterparts/customers)
