Our long term vision is to be a _planetary-scale infrastructure for knowledge workers_. We bill our clients hourly in USD. We give all IP to our clients and are long-term partners with dozens of well-funded startups (e.g., backed by a16z, YC, etc.) and multiple Fortune 100 companies. Your job

**Responsibilities**:

- Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Legal will be responsible for all legal matters worldwide, including general corporate, commercial, employment and regulatory matters
- Lead the Legal Team
- Develop legal procedures, policies and practices to support business operations
- Work with business and technology teams to identify and analyze legal issues associated with our commercial operations, geographic expansion, and technologies worldwide and advise on legal and compliance risk mitigation
- Manage outside counsel and compliance vendors
- Partner with the global team to continually improve our legal and compliance programs to help bld.ai scale up worldwide with a globally-consistent approach
- Manage contracts, negotiations, arbitrations and litigations

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree from a tier 1 university with a strong GPA.
- 5 years+ relevant experience as a practicing attorney with experience in top tier law firm or/and relevant in-house experience
