Key Responsibilities:

- Negotiate freight rates and charter party terms for dry bulk cargoes on behalf of our clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with owners, charterers, and other industry stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends and provide market intelligence to clients.
- Manage the entire chartering process, from initial inquiry to final negotiation and conclusion of the charter party.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, including timely and accurate communication of market conditions, vessel availability, and other relevant information
- Collaborate with other departments within the company, including operations and finance, to ensure smooth execution of charter parties and timely payment of invoices
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all chartering activities, including contract details, vessel information, and financial transactions
- Attend industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on industry trends and maintain professional relationships with industry stakeholders

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in dry bulk chartering, with a proven track record of successful negotiations and relationship building
- In-depth knowledge of the dry bulk shipping market, including vessel types, routes, and freight rates
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, owners, and other industry stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
