THE POSITION

Head of Sales

Key Responsibilities:

- Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and market share goals.

Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities.

Set sales objectives and KPIs aligned with the company's overall strategic plan.
- Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, including Sales Managers and Account Executives.

Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure the team's success.

Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales department.
- Client Relationships Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships to expand the customer base.

Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly.
- Sales Operations:
Oversee all sales operations, including pricing strategies, product launches, and promotional activities.

Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement.

Optimize sales processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Budget Management:
Develop and manage the sales department budget, allocating resources effectively to meet targets.

Control costs and expenses while maintaining a focus on revenue growth.
- Market Expansion:
Identify and explore new markets, regions, or distribution channels to expand the company's presence.

Develop market entry strategies and assess the feasibility of expansion initiatives.
- Reporting and Analytics:
Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance to senior management.

Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field
- 10 years of proven success in sales leadership roles, with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
- Experience working in a start-up environment is a must
- In-depth knowledge of FMCG & Life Science industry, market dynamics, and customer behavior.
- Analytical mindset and proficiency in using sales analytics tools.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans that drive results
- Strong project management skills and experience
- Ability to work well with a team, and on a multi-cultural global basis
- Super diligent, organized, very disciplined in his selling process, accountable, able to present in front of the board, with high ethical standards
- Excellent communication and language skills, English proficiency a must
- Willingness to work in a global, multi-time zone company environment
- Organized, analytical, and results-orientated individual who enjoys a fast paced entrepreneurial environment
