**What the role is**

As a Lead Strategist, you will be responsible for driving futures work across the MCI family, to identify emerging strategic issues and trends that might have strategic impact on the information and/or digitalisation ecosystem. Your role is to keep watch of global/domestic developments that might turn into an emerging strategic issue, and to bring these issues to the attention of the MCI leadership and engender discussions within the MCI family on the possible impact that these issues might have on MCI family’s strategies and plans.

**What you will be working on**

You are required to:

- Conduct horizon scanning to watch for global/domestic developments that could impact information and/or digital landscape
- Conduct in-depth research and develop possible futures scenarios on selected topics of interest
- Conduct workshops to socialise stakeholders on the emerging strategic issues and possible futures scenarios

**What we are looking for**

Job Requirements:

- Background in any discipline
- Relevant work experience in strategy and/or futures work
- Strong analytical, written and communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Inquisitive, curious, imaginative, dares to ask questions, ability to “connect dots” across various domains, strategic thinker
