As a Technical Services Manager, you will be accountable for AD/SB compliance, modification control of aircraft, reliability and aircraft performance monitoring and any other Technical Services related matter. It's a highly responsible, thorough and rewarding career path.

As part of the Jetstar Asia Engineering & Maintenance team, you will have the opportunity to ensuring the total airworthiness of our growing fleet of aircraft.

Reporting to the Manager, Engineering, your main accountabilities will include:

- Ensuring appropriate level of AOC oversight is maintained over contracted maintenance and technical services organizations in complying with the contractual agreements and CAAS requirements.
- Managing and controlling the Aircraft Reliability Monitoring Program including engine condition and aircraft performance monitoring programs, and ensuring the Aircraft Reliability Monitoring Program complies with CAAS requirements.
- Monitoring Airworthiness Directive (AD) activity to ensure that mandatory requirements are being assessed, scheduled and accomplished.
- Reviewing and recommending Service Bulletin (SB) and customer modification evaluation from fleet technical management organizations for incorporation on Jetstar Asia fleet.
- Liaising with OEM’s in relation to proposed modifications to aircraft and equipment including the specification and timely provision of parts, Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) and engineering orders.
- Representing Jetstar Asia at technical liaison, reliability and modification committee meetings.
- Ensuring responses to safety investigation reports and mandatory occurrence reports by the contracted maintenance and technical services organizations are appropriate.
- Ensuring effective management of the AirbusOn-Line (AOL) Account, and that airworthiness, engineering and maintenance data are provided and maintained current, and distributed to all affected personnel or organizations that require such data.
- Responsible for maintaining, updating, producing, archiving and retrieval of aircraft engineering and maintenance records.
- Responsible for coordinating with Jetstar Asia Flight Operations in connection with occurrences which have both airworthiness and operational implications.
- Monitoring technical services related expenditure to ensure costs maintained within budget.
- Undertaking any relevant duties as required by Manager, Engineering.

To be considered for these roles you will ideally have:

- Degree/Diploma in Aerospace/Electric al/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or Licence Aircraft Engineer (LAE)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the aviation technical services. - At least 2 years in a supervisory position.
- Knowledge of Trax Maintenance software is preferred
- Familiar with Civil Aviation Authority (CAAS) requirements and procedures.
- Good understanding of aircraft maintenance planning and component management
- Familiar with various aircraft technical manuals.
