**Process Control Engineer**

**POSITION OVERVIEW
The Coca-Cola Company - Coca Cola Pacific Refreshment is a strategic concentrate manufacturing plant in Asia. We are an export facility, specializing in the manufacturing of concentrates and beverage bases, with a complex portfolio, supporting the ASEAN, South Pacific and Southwest Asia business units. The plant just completed an Expansion wing, incorporating Industry 4.0 practices, which will take it to the next level of doubling its manufacturing capacity in the next 3-5 years.

Objective:

- Support technical aspects of the Liquids / Dry Parts Value work-stream from a core, automation engineering-based skillset, associated with Batch, PLC and SCADA systems.
- This involves understanding at PLC level, machines and processes that support the overall automated production systems which run on a 24-hour basis.
- The controls engineer provides a troubleshooting service as batches are released by Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) platform, and executed by Batch control system. This forms the basis of automated traceability for KORE compliance.
- Provide technical support of our SCADA and HMI system, which is used for production monitoring and display of complex process and packaging systems.
- In addition to technical reactive support, the role involves developing proactive automation solutions for scope, cost, and schedule evaluation.

**RESPONSIBILITIES
2. Implement small to medium projects as agreed in local site prioritization and financial requirements and constraints of capital or local operational expense systems.

3. Take ownership and lead the development, agreement, and execution of cross functional resolution plans to address gaps in throughput, quality, safety, and environmental metrics.

4. Manages automation centered projects & control system modifications, ensuring that verification & validation procedures are implemented.

5. Develop comprehensive obsolescence profiles for hardware and software systems for 5, 10,15-year time horizons.

**QUALIFICATIONS & RELATED EXPERIENCE
- Working knowledge in liquid batching processing and filling is an advantage.
- PLC Programming: Allen Bradley ControlLogix, Siemens S7. Experience in FactoryTalk product suite is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industrial control networks: EthernetIP, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profinet
- Electrical & Instrumentation expertise.
- Knowledge of Batch control and ERP connectivity.
- Experience in VB, MSSQL, Java and Python, as well as networking, is an advantage.
- Self - Directed
- Track record of delivering projects in a highly automated environment.
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years relevant experience is essential (programming, systems support), preferably in a food or process environment.
