**Job Description Responsibilities**
- Be the strategic advisor on financial matters and support the MDs Singapore and China in the company’s strategic business planning processes, provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with Singapore and China Leadership to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
- Partner China CFO and other APAC Finance Leadership team and business
- Provide leadership, direction and management of a high performing finance team and Supply Chain Management team in Singapore and China
- Accountable for reporting, risk and control, budgeting and forecasting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, operations not limited to policies, procedures and process improvements, corporate finance, and project financing activities.
- Ensure credibility of Singapore Finance by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trend analysis and forecasts.
- Oversight and effective internal control on governance, regulatory compliance with GAAP and applicable federal state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting, and matters relating to enterprise risk management
- Support any M&A activity undertaken in SEA Region and China, including analysis of targets, deal structures and pricing, synergies, post-acquisition financials.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree and qualified **Chartered Accountant or CPA**
- **Registered Tax Agent in PRC(must)**
- Exceptional communication (written and oral, **Chinese and English **) and presentation skills with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees including senior management
- Extensive experience in finance leadership of a large oversea business, managing geographically dispersed teams (including shared services) across planning, tax, management accounting and financial reporting.
- Minimum **10 years **working experience of which preferably at least 3 years in **a big four audit firm **and in a managerial position for at least 4-5 years
- Strong technical accounting, reporting and finance background; industry related experience
- A strategic and innovative thinker, with a track record in business partnering and providing strategic and financial advice in a global/regional context. Bring the gravitas and proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior internal and external stakeholders to achieve business outcomes
- Astute with the complexities of an international business of scale, with matrixed teams and reporting lines
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks/activities simultaneously
- Strong leadership skills, leading through a changing environment as well as risk management
