We use advanced quantitative techniques and cutting-edge technological tools to generate insights that drive outstanding investment outcomes for GIC.

You will be part of a team of alpha technologists developing platforms for investment teams and quantitative researchers, allowing GIC to harness our differentiated quantitative methods at scale.
**What impact can you make in this role?**
You will be part of a team that uses advanced quantitative methods, alternative data, and technology to generate superior investment performance.
**What will you do as a Software Developer (PEII Alpha Tech)?**
- Contribute in ideation and execution of enterprise grade solutions to support our Front Office business functions
- Interact directly with business users to understand the challenges in their existing/new process, identify and propose optimization opportunities and build technical solutions to reduce manual effort/risk
- Provide support through proactive incident root cause analysis and problem resolution
- Develop good domain knowledge about the Private Markets space
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) related discipline
- 2-3 years of experience in data engineering, software development and data visualization
- Experience or knowledge in the following technologies is advantageous:
- Data Virtualization - Denodo
- Databases - MS SQL, Snowflake, JDBC/ODBC
- Programming and Scripting - Python,.Net, REST API
- React.js and other JavaScript framework/libraries
- Take an agile and pragmatic approach, ensure quick time-to-market and code reusability
- Strong team player with deep technical knowledge and keen business analytical skill
