**We are seeking a talented technologist who is passionate about software development to join our team.**
**What you will be doing**
This is an opportunity to join GIC as an Associate Software Developer (Public Market Solutions - Asset Servicing and Data) to partner closely with Investment Services Public Markets Department and provide solutions through effective use of technology.
This role will be part of an integrated team that provides technology and data solutions for trade processing activities. You will have opportunities to gain firsthand experience in the emerging field of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) & Sustainability data processing and analytics.
**Join us if you have/are**
- 1 to 5 years of relevant working experience in front-end or back-end software development.
- Hands-on technical skills and competency in any of these programming/scripting languages and software frameworks: Java, SpringBoot, React, and any database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB and kdb+.
- Experience with methodologies such as SDLC / Agile Scrum, Kanban, or any DevOps frameworks.
- Good team player who is keen to learn, independent, and with strong analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate in understanding business requirements and use technology to transform or improve current state.
- Familiar with and interested to learn about current and emerging technology landscapes.
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) related discipline is advantageous.
