**Sustainability Office (SO)**
The Sustainability Office at GIC is at the forefront of driving sustainability initiatives. As part of this team, you will be responsible for conducting sustainability-related investment research and developing investment strategies to address sustainability issues that have a significant impact on the overall GIC portfolio. Additionally, you will collaborate with GIC's investment teams to integrate sustainability considerations into the investment processes. By working closely with both internal investment teams and external experts, we develop cutting-edge sustainability integration tools that enable us to identify, measure, and effectively manage sustainability-related investment risks and opportunities across our entire investment portfolio.

You will be part of a team that uses advanced quantitative methods, alternative data, and technology to generate superior investment performance.

**What will you do as a Quantitative Strategist?**
- Conduct research in one or more asset classes to understand how various sustainability themes impact their risk/return drivers in different markets. Derive insights/alpha through quantitative methods and communicate the findings to key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain robust quantitative models to support market monitoring, idea generation, back testing and total portfolio management. This include data sourcing internally and externally, cleaning and preparing the required underlying data in a systematic fashion.
- Build out next generation sustainability investment analytics capability to promote efficiency in supporting senior management and for wider usage among various investment teams within GIC.
- Conduct detailed analysis on business requirements and develop solutions to enhance or add new analytical capabilities whilst ensuring quick time-to-market and code reusability.
- Build close partnership and actively collaborate with asset class specialist for the furtherance of sustainability investment analytics.
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in quantitative discipline like Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science
- In depth data knowledge of sustainability datasets used for insights generation and total portfolio management
- Proficiency in the following programming languages - R, Python, SQL.
