**Data Solutions & Services**
You will help to design and lead strategic data solutions build-out to support our public markets investment capabilities. You will also conduct research and manage the implementation of data services for all investment strategies and new product lines, through the establishment of strategic partnerships and foster best practices in operating and service models.

You will be part of a team that is an integrated investment service team that partners the business in providing services to support public markets investment.
**Investment Data Solutions & Analytics** (IDSA) team’s builds Process Automation Solutions for all ISPM’s teams with the purpose of increasing efficiency and reducing operational risk. We also enable our operations teams for enhanced decision-making by providing cutting edge and innovative Operational Analytics and Insights capabilities. The team uses Python as the tool of choice for these solutions, incorporating ML/AI models, data pipelines and web frameworks for visualization. We work closely with our enterprise technology departments in building these solutions with a product-centric approach. We also align to GIC’s overall enterprise objective by interfacing with both Front Office and Risk & Performance teams in various forums to contribute to enterprise Initiatives.
The IDSA team comprises of highly motivated members with functional exposure in investment operations, technical expertise in programming, ML/AI solution modeling, advanced data analytics and data visualization. We are seeking to hire a technically competent, hands-on and functionally knowledgeable individual to join our team to add value to the team’s capabilities.
**What will you do as an Associate/AVP, Investment Data Solutions & Analytics?**
- Interact with ISPM operations teams to understand the challenges in their operational process, identify and propose optimization opportunities. Develop automation solutions to reduce manual effort/ risk for the ops team thereby contributing to operational alpha.
- Build, maintain and improve new and existing ML/AI models and their underlying solutions using Python, to deliver operational efficiency and mitigate operational risk
- Plan, document and implement such solutions in timely manner, in partnership with Technology and Data Solutions groups for deployment and maintenance
- Take ownership of functional enhancement of existing solutions and participate in enhancement of the operational platforms owned by the teams
- Collaborate with other ISPM teams and represent IDSA team to plan and manage Process Automation book of work
- Own Process Governance of End User Computing (Process Automation) solutions for the ISPM department including the yearly attestation exercises
- Actively participate in teams ML/AI practice to drive operational insights for tangible outcomes for the operations teams
- Analyze data sets to spot trends and patterns. Use statistical/data analytics tools to interpret data sets, and preparing reports that effectively communicate the trends, patterns, and predictions based on relevant findings.
**What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Software Engineering
- 3-4 years of experience in hands-on Python base solutions development including experience designing, testing, implementing, and maintaining Machine Learning (ML)Models
- Functional knowledge of asset management/asset servicing industry with understanding of trade lifecycle and related investment and operational processes
- Expert knowledge of Python and related frameworks including:
- Django and Flask web frameworks
- statistical, data analytics and visualization libraries and packages
- Experience using Snowflake and proficient in database concepts, writing SQL, Creating Tables and Views, etc.
- Hands on experience in Tableau based dashboard development
- Ability to analyze operational data for drawing meaningful insights is highly desirable
- Hands on experience in Version control using Git and Deployment using CI/CD pipeline
